FedEx Enhances Service in Central Taiwan


TAIPEI, Oct 27, 2011—FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, today announced that effective immediately, the cut-off time for outbound FedEx International Priority® and FedEx International Economy® shipments from selected cities/districts in central Taiwan will be extended[1]. The latest call-in cut-off time for shipments from these areas will be extended to as late as 5:30pm for same-day uplift*.


This service enhancement will benefit customers from Huatan, Lugang, Fuxing, Xianxi, Hemei, Shengang and Chuan Shing Industrial Park in Changhua County. With the greater flexibility and convenience offered by the adjusted cut-off time, Taiwan businesses can enjoy more efficient, competitive access to international markets.
