SEOUL, South Korea, April 22, 2026 — Federal Express Corporation (FedEx), one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, today announced that it has received AA-level Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certification from the Korea Customs Service for the Bonded Warehouse Operator category. With this achievement, FedEx becomes the only express transportation company in Korea to hold dual AA-level AEO certifications, covering both Bonded Warehouse Operator, and Customs Clearance and Forwarding categories.
The AEO certification program recognizes companies that meet the highest standards in regulatory compliance, security management, financial stability, and internal control systems. As an AA-level AEO certified operator, FedEx enables its customers to benefit from prioritized and simplified customs clearance and inspection procedures for both import and export shipments. This reduces risk of delays and enhances customers’ competitiveness in global markets.
The dual AA-level certification underscores the company’s unwavering commitment to providing fast and reliable global deliveries. From export and import customs clearance to transportation and warehouse management, FedEx consistently demonstrates differentiated service quality and regulatory compliance across the supply chain.
FedEx continues to support businesses of all sizes in expanding their global reach. Beginning April 1, 2026, FedEx collaborated with Korea Post to enhance international express shipping capabilities for EMS Premium customers. The collaboration enables fast and reliable deliveries within 1–3 business days to more than 220 countries and territories leveraging FedEx extensive global network. In addition, FedEx Korea was recently honored at the 10th Incheon Airport (ICN) Awards by the Incheon International Airport Corporation as an “Outstanding Logistics Company” for its exceptional contributions to operational and service excellence.
