FedEx Volunteers Drive Positive Change Through Environmental and Education Projects in Bangkok

FedEx Cares TH Mar2026

Bangkok, Thailand, March 30, 2026 – Federal Express Corporation (FedEx), one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, has launched a multi-faceted community development initiative to support the environmental sustainability and education at Wat Thewasunthorn School and the surrounding Lat Yao community in Bangkok’s Chatuchak District.

Wat Thewasunthorn School is a small community institution serving about 60 students from kindergarten to Grade Six. The school served as the focal point of the volunteer initiative where nearly 40 FedEx team members in partnership with the World Vision Foundation of Thailand (WVFT) came together to upgrade learning facilities, promote waste management awareness, and support the restoration of the Prem Prachakon canal. The canal which runs alongside the school and nearby residences, has long been central to the daily lives of the local community.

“Education and environmental awareness are the foundations of resilient communities. By improving learning environments, we equip children with the knowledge and values they will carry into the future. FedEx remains committed to creating positive, sustainable impact in the communities we serve,” said Sasathorn Phaspinyo, managing director, FedEx Thailand.

This initiative is part of FedEx Cares, the company’s global community engagement program focused on making a meaningful different through employee volunteering, in-kind shipping, and charitable giving.
