This is the first year that the certification program has been introduced by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and other public entities, including the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Korea Employers Federation, the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Federation of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises. It acknowledges organizations that implement innovative policies and practices aimed at enhancing work-life balance for their employees. Companies are assessed on several criteria, such as alternative work arrangements, paid annual leaves, working hours, and corporate culture. FedEx was recognized for its comprehensive approach to employee well-being, which comprises flexible work arrangements, and initiatives that support working parents and their children.
