FedEx Recognised for Delivering Positive Impact and Sustainable Changes in Local Communities in Singapore

Singapore, Apr 29, 2025 — Federal Express Corporation, one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, has been awarded the Distinction Award at this year’s Corporate and Societal Action: Recognition for Excellence in Singapore (CARES) recognition ceremony, hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) Singapore. This marks the fifth consecutive year FedEx has been recognised for its strong commitment to responsible business practices and meaningful contributions to the Singapore community.

The AmCham CARES program, established in 2016, celebrates member companies that demonstrate a clear understanding of how business success can go hand-in-hand with positive social impact. It offers a platform for companies to benchmark their corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement across the business community. Companies are evaluated across four key pillars: Communications, Measurement, Strategy, and Sustainability, which collectively assess the impact, transparency, and long-term vision of their CSR initiatives.

Through the company’s FedEx Cares global community engagement program, FedEx Singapore has continued to advance initiatives focused on Delivering for Good, Global Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Logistics. Over the past year, FedEx team members have mentored students and young entrepreneurs on the fundamentals of international trade, brought joy to children with chronic illnesses through gifts and book donations, and taken part in environmental activities such as tree planting and waterway clean-ups to help restore urban biodiversity and build climate resilience.

These sustained efforts reflect FedEx’s broader commitment to embedding sustainability into its business operations, and to delivering long-term value not just for customers and stakeholders, but for the wider community in Singapore.
