BANGKOK, THAILAND, April 20, 2026 — Federal Express Corporation, one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, today announced the addition of eight new zero-tailpipe emissions electric vehicles (EVs) to its parcel pickup and delivery fleet in Thailand. This expansion grows the size of the company’s EV fleet in the country to 12 vehicles.

The new vehicles, with an estimated driving range of 275 km per charge, will operate primarily on high-density urban routes like Kingkaew, Romklao, Suksawat, Charoen Nakhon, Rat Burana, Phetkasem and Bang Khae, where the benefits of electrification—like quieter operation and no tailpipe exhaust—can positively influence quality of life for city residents. Since 2022, FedEx’s EVs in Thailand have already helped avoid more than 27.51 metric tons of carbon emissions. With the latest additions, the company expects to avoid 82.53 metric tons in greenhouse gases each year with this EV fleet.

“Our push to expand electric vehicles is part of a bigger effort in our goal to achieve carbon neutral operations by 2040,” said Sasathorn Phaspinyo, managing director, FedEx Thailand. “By adopting cutting-edge technologies, we’re not only reducing operational emissions but also building smarter, more efficient networks that support livable cities and seamless delivery experiences.”

The company’s addition of electric vehicles to its Thailand fleet also supports Thailand’s national goals of reaching carbon neutrality by 2050 and net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2065.

Around the world, FedEx is taking a phased approach to vehicle electrification, matching the right vehicle technology to the right operational need while continuing to work on renewable energy solutions and charging infrastructure to scale up over time.
