FedEx Collaborates with The Salvation Army Peacehaven to Support Social Needs of Seniors in Singapore

Singapore, 24 October, 2023 – FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and one of the world’s largest transportation companies, teamed up with The Salvation Army Peacehaven to arrange a series of enriching lifestyle excursions for over 170 senior residents from their nursing homes, day centres and active ageing centre.

A team of 35 FedEx volunteers and friends accompanied these senior citizens to visit popular attractions, such as River Wonders and Bird Paradise. Additionally, FedEx sponsored over 130 admission tickets to the attractions providing beneficiaries with opportunities to appreciate nature.

Our volunteers were so excited to see their impact through the time and companionship they offered that created such a positive experience for these senior citizens.”
