FedEx Appoints Sasathorn Phaspinyo as New Managing Director of Thailand

BANGKOK, THAILAND, March 18, 2024 – FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, has appointed Sasathorn Phaspinyo as the new Managing Director of FedEx Express Thailand. He succeeds Tien-Long Woon, who oversaw FedEx operations in Thailand since 2019 and was appointed Managing Director for the company’s Malaysia operations in 2023.

In his new role, Sasathorn will lead a team of about 1,400 team members in Thailand. He is responsible for building smarter and more sustainable supply chains, as well as an efficient network enabling Thai businesses to harness the full potential of global trade opportunities.

Sasathorn joined FedEx Thailand as an Engineer in 2004 and ascended through the company with various roles in Operations Management. His most recent role was Manager of Planning & Engineering, where he oversaw network planning and infrastructure development for Thailand, Vietnam, and Indochina.
