Singapore, July 13, 2026 Federal Express Corporation, one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, continues its long-standing commitment to youth empowerment through the 2026 FedEx/Junior Achievement International Trade Challenge (FedEx/JA ITC). This year’s challenge once again drew ambitious young entrepreneurs from across Singapore, six of whom have earned the chance to represent the country at the Asia Pacific regional finals in Singapore this August.

Now in its 19th year, the FedEx/JA ITC program in Singapore is designed to build entrepreneurial thinking and global business acumen among secondary and tertiary school students. Delivered in collaboration with JA Singapore, a non-profit organisation dedicated to preparing young Singaporeans to succeed in a global economy, the program offers students a practical look at international trade through hands-on workshops and team-based challenges.

This year’s competition challenged students to develop a Market Entry Strategy Plan (MESP) for artificial intelligence (AI)-powered warehouse drones aimed at improving inventory accuracy and accelerating fulfilment speed in Vietnam’s rapidly growing e-commerce sector. Their ideas showcased critical thinking, creativity and a deep understanding of technology-led business solutions relevant to today’s global landscape.

The six students representing Singapore at the 2026 regional finals are:

  1. Team: Trade Titans
Names of students: Ravichandran Kalieswaran & Sayem Muntasir Mamun
    School: Lotus Bridge International Academy
    Product name: AURALIA
Product presented: AURALIA is an AI-powered warehouse intelligence ecosystem that gives every parcel a digital identity, verifies its physical location using drones, RFID, and indoor positioning, and turns inventory errors into actionable reports for warehouse managers.
  2. Team: Team Cheerful Girls
Names of students: Stephanie Wong Yun Ting & Tan Joelle
    School: Republic Polytechnic
    Product name: Skyvie(s)
Product presented: Our product Skyvie, an AI-powered autonomous warehouse drone designed to automate inventory management and improve warehouse efficiency.
  3. Team: In2urhearts
Names of students: Rachelle Chai Jenn Lynn & Jacinda Wong Kah Xin
    School: River Valley High School
    Product name: PriorDrone
Product presented: Introducing PriorDrone– the first warehouse drone that searches by PRIORITY, not pattern.

At the regional finals, the Singapore team will work alongside students from across Asia Pacific including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand. Competing internationally pushes students further than the classroom alone, giving them the chance to present their ideas before peers from a wide range of markets. Finalists will also meet FedEx leaders and industry practitioners, adding a real-world dimension to what they have learned.

“Singapore’s strength as a global trade hub has always depended on people who can adapt to change and seize new opportunities. As technologies such as artificial intelligence continue to transform industries, these qualities are becoming more important than ever,” said Eric Tan, managing director of FedEx Singapore.” It has been inspiring to see students tackle real-world business challenges with creativity, curiosity and fresh thinking through the FedEx/JA International Trade Challenge. We are proud to support a platform that helps prepare the next generation for the future of trade and business.”

Since 2008, the FedEx/JA ITC program has reached over 7,100 Singaporean students, nurturing a generation of forward-thinking youth with the drive to innovate and lead. Over the years, Singaporean participants have made their mark on the regional stage, with many achieving top placings. In 2024, Singapore made history as the first country to have a Singaporean participant in each of the top three teams, with Singaporean students helping secure first, second and third place alongside teammates from other markets. These achievements reflect the strong, ongoing collaboration between FedEx and JA Singapore in fostering innovation and preparing tomorrow’s leaders.
