(NYSE: FDX) has appointed Marcus Balzereit as president of FedEx Logistics Inc., the freight forwarding business unit in FedEx that combines international freight and value added service offerings supported by 9,000+ professionals in more than 50 countries and territories.
In this role, Balzereit leads an integrated global freight forwarding team, drawing on his extensive leadership experience across Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. With more than 25 years of extensive experience in the global supply chain, freight forwarding, and contract logistics industries, he most recently served as senior vice president of APAC sales & solutions, where he successfully led a dynamic, large-scale sales organization to strong double-digit growth across the Asia Pacific region.
