Federal Express Corporation reached an important milestone by successfully completing an external assessment for the ISO 56001:2024 Innovation Management System standard. Conducted by independent certification body LRQA, the assessment is the world’s first international standard focused on innovation management.
FedEx is the first LRQA client in the United States to achieve this certification.
The assessment included interviews with senior leadership and reviews of innovation-related teams across the company, including advanced technology, robotics, digital platforms, customer experience, enterprise technology, and facilities innovation. These reviews showed innovation is built into the way our entire company operates.
LRQA noted clear evidence that FedEx’s innovation efforts are creating real business value, emphasizing that companies must continue to innovate to remain competitive. The assessment highlighted strong programs and continuous improvement initiatives supported by FedEx’s DRIVE efforts and QDM governance.
